May is a month of celebration — and at Jules + Gem Hawai‘i, we’re proud to honor Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month and National Small Business Month. As a locally owned fragrance brand founded in Hawai‘i by our fearless leader who is of Pacific Islander, Native Hawaiian and Asian heritage, this time of year holds special meaning for us!

Why It Matters to Us

Jules + Gem Hawai‘i was born out of a desire to capture the sweet, nostalgic scents of Hawai‘i — from the fragrance of puakenikeni to the sweetness of mango and lychee. As a woman-owned, AANHPI-led business, we know how important it is to uplift our culture, our stories, and our community.
